4099 C Overview
The DPA 4099C is specifically designed for the sound pressure levels of acoustic instruments such as cellos. The 4099C includes a mounting piece that is designed to mount to the strings before the bridge. This microphone is a condenser utilizing a super cardioid pickup pattern for max gain before feedback especially in the high mids (8Mhz) and lows (250 Hz). The frequency response of the 4099 incredibly ranges past 20Hz and 20 Mhz. This mic definitely does NOT lack clarity.
