4099 CM Overview
The DPA 4099 CM has a mounting clamp that is used for acoustic instruments such as violins, saxophones and brass instruments. Another use of the clamp mount is to attach a 4099 to a music stand when it is impractical for a instrument to be directly miked. The 4099 CM has a simple mounting mechanism that makes switching between instruments quick and easy. This microphone is a condenser utilizing a super cardioid pickup pattern for max gain before feedback especially in the high mids (8Mhz) and lows (250 Hz). The frequency response of the 4099 incredibly ranges past 20Hz and 20 Mhz.
