4488-B Headset (Black) Overview
If you've been using DPA for years then you will know by the "88" in the 4088 model that this is a headset mic with a directional element. The 4488 element is IP58 rated and was developed with DPA's CORE technology that allows the headset to handle 144 dB of SPL. What's also different about this headset is that it uses a headband that was familiar to only the 6066 models before now. If you are looking to find the exact fit for your pastor and know that your PA is not happy with omni directionals, then we recommend shooting out the 4088, 4288 and the 4488. The decision that would remain is what model is most comfortable and aesthetically pleasing.
