The DPA 4661 CORE is a compact, moisture-resistant lavalier microphone engineered for durability and performance in demanding environments like broadcast, theater, and live performances. Its low-sensitivity electret-condenser capsule is designed to handle powerful vocals and performances, delivering crisp, clear, and intelligible sound. The rugged yet discreet design meets the needs of professional live stage and presentation work.
Constructed with a stainless-steel housing, a thicker 2.2mm cable, and reinforced strain relief, the 4661 CORE is built to endure harsh conditions in challenging environments. DPA's CORE technology enhances its performance, offering a 6 dB improvement in dynamic range and a 6 dB reduction in noise compared to the 4661 Legacy model.
The microphone includes two interchangeable protection grids for customizable sound. The High-Boost Grid creates a 12 kHz peak, ideal for chest placement, while the Soft-Boost Grid provides a gentle lift between 8 and 20 kHz, enhancing clarity and presence.
With an SPL rating of 144 dB, the 4661 CORE can effortlessly handle loud vocals, speakers, and instruments, making it a versatile solution for houses of worship, live events, and more. It operates on 5 to 10V plug-in power from a wireless transmitter and features a modular design with a Microdot output connector for easy integration.
