RE 27 N/D Overview
The EV RE 27 N/D is a version of the legendary EV RE 20. A dynamic broadcast mic utilizing a cardioid pickup pattern to control unwanted sounds and Variable D to control proximity effect. They also removed the transformer from this microphone allowing for a better sensitivity and better low end response (down to 45Hz) and added a neodymium magnet that gets better high end response (up to 20kHz). Comparable to a lot of high end condensers.
