RE20 Overview
If you haven’t heard of or have ever seen the EV RE 20 then we’re not quite sure what planet you’ve been living on. The RE 20 is the broadcasters choice of dynamic microphone for radio and pod-casting. It is a dynamic microphone with a cardioid pickup pattern that utilizes Variable D technology which minimizes the proximity effect and shifts in tone when a vocal moves around the mic. The RE 20 can be used as a premium instrument microphone. FACT: This mic is used on James Brown’s back up singers on Live at Montreux: 1981. Get on up !
