P-414 Overview
In 2019 we had a chance to meet the Peluso’s and their line of microphone clones. To us, Peluso isn't just some “knock off” of vintage microphones but come really close to the originals in so many ways. The P-414 is no exception. The P-414 is modeled after or “inspired by” the AKG C414 EB from the 1970’s. Even from a distance you might mistake the look of it as a vintage 414. Like the EB the P-414 has the same multi patterns, pads, and roll offs. We embedded a video below from recording magazine that gives you more of an idea of how the P414 sizes up to the XLS and EB models. Our friend Tanner Kinney, live recording engineering and crowd capture specialist, introduced us to the P 414’s that he had a chance to use on the The Renaissance World Tour. If you subbed your C414 XLS for the P414 we promise you, you will not be disappointed.
