The Sennheiser e965 is a large-diaphragm handheld condenser microphone, ideal for vocal performances. It features a 1" dual-diaphragm capsule that allows switching between cardioid and supercardioid polar patterns. The supercardioid mode offers enhanced directionality, reducing the risk of acoustic feedback onstage. The microphone includes a high-pass filter to cut out low-end rumble and a switchable -10 dB pad. With the pad engaged, it can handle an impressive 152 dB SPL, making it perfect for extremely loud sound sources.
