KSM32 Overview
If the Neumann U87 and 47 are out of your price range consider the Shure KSM32. Don’t just take our word for it. Read this article from Sound on Sound on the KSM32 upon being released. We believe that you will be pleased with its 20Hz – 20kHz frequency response performance in the studio on anything you wish to record. The KSM32 is considered a small condenser although it is just under the 1″ classification for large diaphragm condensers. It is capable of handling higher sound pressure levels (139dB Max SPL) with the help of a built in attenuator. It also has a 3 position low frequency roll off switch.
