KSM8 Overview
This is the uniquely designed dual diaphragm KSM 8 dynamic microphone. It utilizes a cardioid pickup pattern to maximize gain before feedback and also a dual diaphragm to minimize proximity effect. It's frequency range is 40Hz-16kHz, so it's not the brightest of microphones although the frequency response is rather flat. Of course it's build to handle the tough stuff and has an incredible, and patented, way of combating the most aggressive handling noise. A lot of our users like these for mics for active musicians like guitar, bass and keyboard players.
