KSM9 Capsule Overview
The Shure KSM9 capsule is a beautifully sounding, multi pattern condenser capsule. It is has been designed to bring studio grade vocal mic’ing to the stage. Although switchable between cardioid and super cardioid pickup patterns, the KSM9 maintains a relatively identical frequency response on the different patterns (50Hz – 20kHz). Allowing the user to select the best pattern for performance without juggling sound. Great Max SPL (152dB) for even the louder voices on stage and virtually response resistant to proximity effect and mic cupping. Using the KSM9 with a higher quality sound system will make it more noticeably different than say a Beta 87A.
