MixPre-6 II Kit Overview
The Sound Devices MixPre-6 II multitrack field recorder is an ideal tool for independent filmmakers, field recordists, and Ambisonic enthusiasts who need pristine audio capture for up to four microphones. It allows you to record up to six tracks from external sources (four channels via XLR-1/4" combo jacks and two channels via a 3.5mm mini jack), along with a stereo mix, at sample rates and resolutions of up to 192 kHz / 32-bit, while monitoring audio through headphones. When used as a studio interface, the MixPre-6 II supports sample rates up to 96 kHz, ensuring high-quality audio for your projects.
