1973 Overview
The black Soyuz 1973 is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone ideal for various recording applications, including vocals, guitars, pianos, and more. Drawing on Soviet-era technology, the cost-effective 1973 incorporates the same S23 capsule as the Bomblet microphone into a more streamlined and compact chassis. This design makes it easier to position in tight spaces, particularly when recording drums and guitars. The microphone features a cardioid polar pickup pattern, utilizing dual 1.3" capsules, one of which is gold-sputtered.
